That event was awesome, I was always shy of picking up the Torque Bow because I was terrible with it and felt like it was better for someone else to grab it, so I went what the hell and my skills improved a lot.
That doesn't change the fact that I'm a bloody magnet for those arrows, though.

I had a bunch of freezes shortly after I started the game and was pretty annoyed but it's behaved itself ever since, touch wood. Even now, the only time I'm getting any noticeable lag is for a few seconds immediately after quick travelling somewhere. As long as I can get the Platinum before the game starts imploding on itself I'll be a happy bunny.And possibly not game freezes.

Did you find the dragons all got super easy to beat once you were at level 10 or so? I'm only at level 14 and even Alduin didn't seem to put up much of a fight. I had more trouble with the hordes of Draugrs in that temple before you go through the portal...

I did some side quests before finishing the main quest (well, quite a few actually).
The Peryite quest in particular had a useful reward
I think I was above level 30 when I ended up finishing the main quest
So yeah.......dragons had been easy kills for quite some time

I know the video you're talking about, it does look dreadful. I was worried about that too but luckily it hasn't happened to me yet. Not saying it definitely won't, but like I said, I've finished the main quest without any major problems.
