Problem is, I suck ass through a straw in competitive gaming, specially FPSes, because I don't play often. Is there any free or "pseudo-free", non spec heavy, favorite FPS you could recommend to me? Any advice to suck less?

TF2 went free-to-play a while ago and is probably the best online FPS out there. Or at least it was when I still played it.

Dude, don't worry about it. As long as this isn't some sort of stupid ass weakshit tryout for some bullshit clan, just go and have fun. They can't kick you out for being there for the social aspect of it (and everyone needs some social interaction) and shit.

As for tips, you'll only get better when you get used to the games you're playing. With time comes skill. At least, that's how it works with fitan vidya, but I'm sure it works with shootan vidya also.
