I was playing MM10 earlier. My nephew (total FPS junkie) started commenting on how "easy" it was and how he feels that way because he plays harder games. To note, he spent the last several weeks with MW3 and AC:R.

So I let him try it.

While I was about halfway through Wily Stage 3.

I think that just about says everything that needs to be said.

Magnificent. It's funny because these sorts of games do look easy until you actually play them. And realise how little margin for error there is. And how few options you have at your disposal to stem the endless tide of death ahead.

It's funny because I'm getting around to those lately as well.

Now I have to ask myself whether or not trying to get through MM10 without getting hit is worth it.

I'm currently leaning towards "no".

I saw that on the trophy list. My reaction was basically "Yeah. Screw that."

You may actually know a few of them, but I've got a ton of post Mirage in here.
I only started playing when New Phyrexia had just come out, and my first true set was Innistrad.

Yeah, I'm sure I'd know a couple from reprints and stuff. Though it's telling that I've... um... never even heard of either of those sets. :'D

Innistrad is the newest Plane being the one Sorin Markov originated in.
New Phyrexia was last year, and is the end of the Mirran/Phyexian War which was like...10 years ago or some shit. Maybe more.
Mirrodin, the little sword emblem, all about artifacts in each set.

Admittedly My uncle helped with a ton of it, both suggestions and giving me actual cards. Some are frayed and tattered almost beyond recognition.

I was also hoping he had a copy of Emrakul, the Aeons Torn. It's a tough ass eldrazi with Annihilator like 6 and protection from all colors, as well as granting you an extra turn when played. Unfortunately it can't go to a graveyard.
