Okay then, announcement time.
Ladies and gentlemen, in celebration of my (possibly) 50-page thread, I have decided to do a live-stream playthrough of Sonic 3 & Knuckles on live-stream, for the purposes of mine and your amusement. It shall probably feature voice commentary, because I'm just that vain. And awesome. Never forget that I am awesome.
I do hope this counts as an acceptable way of celebrating this. Details and links to follow.

Whichever, really. As long as they ship to me with a minimum of questions asked, I don't particularly mind. Of course, everything I do purchase through those routes is screened extensively for any kind of tracing, and nothing on the site can manage to get through my firewalls. So I feel reasonably secure in using either.

I got quite a few of them an upgraded AI, got Metal Sonic a new arm-blaster (he loves it, he's been trying it out all day. On non-sentient targets, don't worry), and as a favour to their tortured angsty existence, I did the Shadow Androids the kindness of deactivating them.

Everything is fine here at the base. I trust you find yourself in the same state?
Sonic's speed has defied every effort I've made to explain it. It's not in the shoes, they're just specially designed to withstand the friction of his enormous speed. He can run just as fast without them. It's some amalgamation of pure chaos and uncertainty that's created the rodent, which makes him incredibly unpredictable. I did make the shoes, however. They were designed before I started on my glorious conquest, and Sonic got them from GUN some time after. Can't win them all, I suppose.

After playing Sonic CD yesterday, I was trying to find out where else did "Classic Amy Rose" appeared.
For my surprise, the answer (after some "wiki-article" linkage) was something fresh and new to me.
And that something was: Sonic Comics.
(I have never even heard of most of them but, strangely, they seem to connect me quite well to my...
..."retro-Sonic-childhood".)
And then I remembered there is a section for Magazines & Comics in this paradise that is emuparadise.
After some "downies", I stumbled upon a magazine that you can read here:

You see, someone here at home made the same question about Sonic's shoes, and I was not sure about it.
Oddly, some hours later, I was reading the answer in that 1991 comic! o_____o

But the thing I found to be the most impressive one was checking "what's new" at the forum, opening your
thread and see that the answer you gave to that question matches exactly the one I found!
In page 14 or 15, I think, there is a "Sonic Interview" thing, which seemed like a not very interesting idea
to me, but I still read it out of curiosity. And that's where I found the facts you pointed out.
Which makes me think that if you know such details you must REALLY be Dr.Robotnik/Eggman!

I would probably tear you a new one. No alternate dimension traveling, transportation, or similar around me please. I've said time and again that the dimensional barriers are NOT to be crossed, mostly because it puts the dimensional stability at risk enough to possibly cause the entire dimension to collapse. Not happening.
I would like to compliment your forensic skill. Well done on finding all this information, although what you have there is a form of dimensional parallel development. Dr. Ovi Kintobor is a counterpart of mine from another dimension (chronicled in the Sonic the Comic series, if memory serves). who did indeed develop Sonic's shoes for him in order to assist him in controlling his speed better. I am not that Dr. Robotnik, though it interests me to note that both he and I were directly responsible for the development of Sonic's shoes, even having similar reasons for it. Essentially, friction reduction.
I am not necessarily in need of a cheerleader, but I appreciate your show of support, and you could do worse than cheering me on. Long live the Robotnik Empire!

That seems to be the case. I read two more and they mention the shoes quite a lot, actually.
In one of them I read some uncle Chuck (that I really never heard of) made the shoes. (Huh?!)
Now I see it can only be what you referred (you are the Dr., right?) and that there are a lot
of these... (let me copy/paste that part) ... : "dimensional parallel developments".
