Had to swing by an old favorite flea market yesterday, a few towns over. Grabbed these:
Chrono Cross PSX (generic jewel case, no inst.)
Star Ocean PS2 (Apparently 'dics 1' only)
Sewer Shark Sega CD
Prima guide for Ocarina of Time
N64 AC cord
NES/SNES AV cord
Little knob-thing that converts a standard AC to a N64 connection (Havent seen one of these before...its a little black cube..)
Duck Tales NES
Asstd. superhero-type figures, and a few (vintage) Star Wars figures
The games were a whopping $1 each, as was the guide and the cords. (This guy has a huge crate of PSX games, many either floating loose or in the wrong cases, and the crate is labeled "$1 EACH"....you really gotta dig around at this place...I once found Parasite Eve in a case labeled 'Spec Ops'....)
Not one of my best, by any stretch, but a nice little cheap grab...

Well I'm feeling better and less bitchy now.
Too good! How did the Saturn thing go?Originally Posted by grady
Feeling better is good. Eh, I passed on the Saturn. "Truth in headlines", as they say...
(The guy brought it over, and w-o-w....this poor thing looked like it spent the past 10 years in SAND....it was beat-to-hell, and two of the cords had duct tape on them. To make matters even 'better', the two games were Tennis and some Baseball thing....UGHHH...he dropped-down to $30 for it all, but I sent him packing...)
I'll be using these most recent items as 'trade bait', as well as potential 'treats', should I feel inclined...
I have 'Saturn/Sega CD want lists' from a few folks here, so whenever I see a Sega disc at a flea, its a squirt of adrenaline, 'cause neither systems' games appear that often in the wild..
(When I saw the 'Sega CD' label on that disc yesterday, I got a little jittery, hoping that maybe it was 'Night Trap', 'Snatcher', or one of those....ah well, cant win 'em all..)
One of my (millions) of 'I wish I had a time machine' moments:
Seeing those '32X Adapter'-things at the Ames Store when it was going out of business a few years back....they had an entire end-cap of them marked at $9.99...... DOH!
Saw three or four DC controllers yesterday, as well, though they felt loose as hell and looked like someone has stuffed the VMU ports with Doritos and shit-stains.....![]()
