Well that was at the last 2 hours. Mainly I was browsing Calais shops with me brother, out in the cold, because my mom's and a friend were doing most of the shopping.

So damn, this local chain (sounds like an oxymoron but it isn't) video game store used to have good prices. Now they are pretty much more expensive than the internet. I am disappoint.

I see this locally, as well.... There are a few good dives, but for the most part, the internet is the way to go these days...

Yeah the greed machine is taking over. This one has kind of went in steps. Back as few as about 4+ years ago they were pretty much THE place to purchase any "rare" or high-priced older game. I remember getting Lunar 2 there for $19.99 as one example and a friend of mine snagged Suikoden for $17.99. Then a little while back they started upping their prices a little bit, still pretty fair based on most of the places around here but over the course of the last year or so everything is just sky high. Some items $20+ above internet prices which is just stupid. There are 3 good places left in my general area now. :/

So how dick is standard international shipping from UK to the US speed wise? Was considering some stuff on ebay but wasn't sure if it would be worth it.

where is this? In New England, we have Bullmoose. It's hit or miss, but people have found PS1 RPGs (like Suikoden II) for $6.97. Their pretty bad at newer releases though.

I pinged my msn and it seems to range from 2 weeks to a month. I'm talking about what would not be priority in the US.

Kansas. The store has over 10 Kansas locations, 1 in Iowa, 2 or 3 in Nebraska and a couple in Missouri.

Speaking of being bad at new releases...I've seen MW3 for the retail price at some used stores here...so fail.

that is the slowest shipping USPS has, they don't have economy shipping. It must be less than 4 pounds though. UPS might have something cheaper and slower
