That's quite the understatement. I got stuck at the end of the Thieves Guild questline. Had to use a console command to kill and then resurrect the necessary NPC.

Also, I find myself having to play on Expert or Master for enemies to be challenging. I guess my gear is just too good.

I am not familiar with Skyrim aside from what I have read here, but it seems like games in general might be getting sloppy about certain things we never really had to worry about in decades past. I mean, I just tried out Gran Turismo on the PSP, and while I love the game already, there seemed to be some artifacts and noise on the tracks. So while I found the game to be beautiful overall, the graphical errors that momentarily popped up on things in the environment were kind of off-putting.

I think this is rather just a case of Bethesda being... well, Bethesda. Their stuff is known for all the weird bugs.

I may have been making too broad a generalization; as I have really only noticed some distortion in GT and Crazy Taxi on the PSP. For the most part I am enjoying games much more now that I'm going back to school. It seems to have built up my mental endurance a bit. For many years I had become so aloof that I would try to switch to a different game after the first level; never willing to give any title the time it deserves.
