Yeah, that does that. Fuck resizing. It's not worth it. Especially if one of the partitions is currently active (C:\, /, etc.).

I need to buy a new portable hard drive to store all of my films, of the 500 gigs it has, it only has 30 gigs left.

Now isn't the time to be needing hard drives. The prices have sky rocketed due to conditions being poor where majority of drives are made.

For a 1TB drive a few months ago you were looking at paying £40-50. Now you're looking at paying almost double.

Of course, used hard drives from CEX and other secondhand shops aren't affected, as they don't seem to be aware of the price increase.

Interesting, thanks for that post, I probably won't buy one until after Christmas in case prices in shops do come down or I might look online for a cheap used one cause there are no CEXs here.

I sold my 1TB external in the summer for £35 + postage. Now they're selling for like £70 + postage.

I had to get one used off a relative for £40 (1TB iOmega).

I remember I had the chance to buy that from you and didn't.

Englebert linked me to a good cheap website to order stuff from the UK.
