ISO to EBOOT (Making ISO's playable on a PSP WITHOUT a PSX Emu)

I am trying my best not to post what you might consider an advertisement, cause it isn't. I just wanted to let people know about a project my friend is doing which is AWESOME!! Before I go and add a link, is there a place where I can inform people of this thing he is doing? He is doing it 100% free, and not for profit.

Also, he is pretty busy with a large list of games that he is doing, while I have asked him to convert BoF III, he hasn't yet due to being busy. Does anyone know where I can get an EBOOT of BoF III?

There's a list of all currently hosted PSP games on the forums here. Scroll down and you'll see the list of OFW signed games (which is what you're referring to) here. And, of course, Breath of Fire III is hosted on this page. It's the European version, but I can confirm that it works absolutely fine on a US PSP.

OFW huh? So, basically they are games that have been converted to EBOOT? Cool, I will see if I can find it.

So after a little more, I see what you were talking about Colamisu. I am looking for CFW compatible EBOOTs to use. I have a CFW PsP. I did try to play the BoF III EBOOT that was in the OFW list, but every time it opens the screen stays black. I hear sound, but I get no video :/ Perhaps an issue with my CFW, or perhaps the EBOOT only works on the current OFW? I did enjoy you bringing the list to my attention though, it seems to be a very LARGE list and if at least one works, it was worth my time! Thanks a ton!

Send me a private message and I'll give you a link to site with official PSN eboots (which do not even require cfw, so compatibility is guaranteed) and just about everything else you could hope for.

Just to make sure we differentiate (because someone else might be a little confuzzled at first, like me), xvolrathx is talking about original PSX games, and converting them to eboot so that they run on CFW, and Colamisu is talking about signing PSP games so they run on OFW. Since they were both talking about Breath of Fire III (which was released on the PSX, and then ported to the PSP), it took me a second to tell what they were talking about.

Also, it is a pretty decent site, although you might want to tell him that PRO-B10 has been released.

Just so you know BOFIII has an official PSP release anyway that Colamisu linked

Alot of users here make there own PSX eBoots, personly not made one for years, but don't remember having any difficulty doing so, we also offer free eBoots anyway and have a huge collection to start with so we realy do not need any offsite ones and we do upload on request aswell

PSX on PSP is still emulation it's just an official emulator built into the PSP OS, the only way it would not be emulation was if the hardware had miniture PSX chip sets on board that the PSP does not, it's still done via software included with the firmware

I'm not going to ban you but I am going to remove the link though, but please don't take this the wrong way but we tend to do things our own way unless we are linking to official sites for certain software, like eBoot creators ect.. and other user end software for creating eBoots or other emulation/console related apps, games we tend not to link outside of our own site but instead our users and staff provide/share those via either upload services or directly on the main server (only staff tend to use the server for games though)

We even have a couple of PSX hacks mixed in those some done by me that are only found at EP (I didn't do the PSX to PSP convert though)

Alakazander has it right, I am talking about the PSX games being turned into EBOOTs so they play on CFW PSP's. Thanks for the advise Alak, I'll let him know.
