I've had experience with Intel Graphics before, Which GMA is it? How much ram you passing to the GMA and how much ram you got total

It's the 3000 series, I don't think it's GMA

Also, it's 4gb of RAM. I just tried it again though, and it ran great, along with a few Source engine games. I don't know what it's issue was, I didn't change anything. I know the i5's support the hyperboost and have some battery saving things or whatever, so I think the processor just didn't increase it's clockspeed for whatever reason when I first tried playing it.

Yeah, it's definitely not a RAM issue. I've only got 2GB And it runs without any problems for me.
Even my processor is less powerful than yours. Sounds like a hiccup with the engine to me.

No matter what settings I put it on i get 5FPS.

Ultra, High, Medium , Low, it doesn't make a difference.

I thought hyperboost was just to enable to CPU to jump to overclocked speeds if it needs to?
