"All AP2.5/XGD3 backups that contain the now older AP25 replay data will fail the system’s AP2.5 challenges and indeed flag your system (the flagging has also been confirmed by the team)."

Throughout history, the young have fought for country, self, human rights, religious freedoms, and their dignity, among other things.
Its comforting to know that in these times one can 'fight' with another via a computer over which video game console is 'superior', and who has the bigger (cock) hard drive....wow....what a truly inspiring age!

It's the modern Medieval age, what do ya expect?
Continuing over the backlog and all that, I've got 2 Gamecubes: one boxed the other one isn't. Then 3 Dreamcasts as they break easily and 3 PS1: 1 modded and quite old, but still working; a normal PS1 and a PSone (the small one).

Not a shabby lot there at all, Engle, right on man. Just found a cherry GameCube recently, with this puffy 'Smash Bros' "skin" added along with a snap-on TV screen, for $20 at the GoodWill!

I'll add pictures at some point of some of my stuff....the storage units, the decks....hell, even the toys and figures....

Oh....grabbed a few 'gems' recently, to boot.... Tyson's Punch-Out for NES, Mega Man X for SNES, and Golden Pokemon for GBC; all were $2 each at the pawn. I promptly sold Tyson's for a fast $20, (I know, I know...but I have my full NES library on both an AceKard2i and a PSP Fat, just to be sure! ) and the other two are good for an easy $10-$20 each via E-Bay or the like...

Right on, love to see it all. I have had and sold so many vast collections over the years, to be honest, these days I get off more on looking at other folks' stuff. Love to see cartridge stuff, XONOX Double-Enders and rare Famicom games, different decks over the years, controllers.....

I think my personal 'undoing' came a few years back when I realized that I had become not a collector, but a hoarder. I mean, honestly, does any ONE person really need to have 20 Sega Genesis decks? A 20-gallon Rubbermaid filled with NES controllers? I was disgusted with myself, and have been having "fire sales" ever since....

Heh, me and my bro are more space concious so we are collectore. We haven't collected in a while though, and I think the lust has been fading away. We are engaging in playing those games, now rather than just collecting dust. I bet the games have even their dust catalogue.

    Yep, heh....

Once I am able to post in the market area here, I'll be offering our 'excess' stuff in trade. Everything, really, from modern stuff through 70s/80s stuff. There might be certain specific items that I am wanting, but for the most part, the stuff will be available to those that are able to walk my wife and/or myself through various instructions regarding emulation and all of its facets. (Essentially a private tutor, only being compensated in video game related goods rather than a salary..)
Several have helped us in this way and have been compensated thusly. In fact, Kouen will be receiving a PSP Slim from me in exchange for several hours invested teaching us many aspects of emulation for our portables.

Yeah, he told me someone was giving him a free PSP. But once you get the whole picture of the emulation scene, then you're ready to go. To be honest, I grew into it so I kinda take it for granted. The PSP, to be honest, it's a powerhouse of an emulating machine as well as the Android mobiles.

Indeed. I dunno, though,.... I suppose its like this, for me:

The great Will Eisner (The Spirit) once said, in reference to the character 'Electra', was how she was dangerous and darkly erotic. He said that "Everyone fawns over and roots for the nice girl, but you know you really wanna get with the slut down the street!". I suppose that the DS Lites are the 'nice girls', they are my favorites, and feel like 'home' to me in their ease of play and fun, friendly games, but mannnnnnn, these PSPs sure are HOT as hell with what they can do!

I also get a cold, sterile feeling from the PSP that I dont like...alien and unfriendly....but I could come around...

My wife thrives on both. She uses one of the various DS models 70% of the time, she devours the Layton and puzzle mysteries, but she cant live without God of War and certain other PSP games....
(I really need to get her the other GOW at some point...we just have the one...)
