Right on. What would you estimate to be the value of the lot, K? I know prices fluctuate, obviously, but give me a rough idea...

Sometimes it seems like I'm the only one here who enjoys Minecraft, so I don't talk about it.

I think there are a few other closet Minecraft players here, they're just ashamed to admit it.

I'm also still playing on 1.7.3 'cause 1.8 and 1.9 are too resource demanding and lag like turtle swimming in quicksand.

Is Minecraft like the older Starcraft games, heavy on strategy simulation and light on action, or?

I have nothing against Minecraft but I haven't played it in months.

Nope, not at all, it's closer to lego than Starcraft.

No it's rather new. Still in beta actually.

It's a survival game. Kinda hard to explain really.

My wife loves those LEGO games, she has pretty much all of them for DS and PS2. I love the 'format/style' of those games, that 'third person/free roaming' thing, but I cant get past the silliness of them.

Oh yeah, 1.8 was giving me problems too, even though my brother's PC is a bit less powerful than mine and can run it pretty well. I'm trying 1.9.6 now, with a texture pack (I can't play without one). To be honest I'm not a heavy Minecraft player, but I had to complete this building and kinda left it there.

WOW, that looks very cool!! I love the graphic style, seems they ripped it straight from the 80s video for Dire Straits "Money for Nothing".

Third-person types are my favorite....wish there were more of 'em for the DS....

It's good, if you like building and exploring. The only problem it's that it's in Java rather than an actual application, so it has some memory issues and sometimes the framerate is inconsistent. Buti t's a charming game with a pretty haunting music, you can spend a lot of hours into it building stuff, mining, crafting and battling monsters. You can remove the monsters all together, so you can concentrate on the building aspect. It makes for a relaxed game.
