Seriously though, my first Wii I had for about 6 months before I fully realized what it even was. I buy boxed lots, typically from yard sales and CraigsList, and most of it ends up right in storage. I remember seeing that Wii deck, holding it, but I thought to myself "Huh, a white system, thats different, must be something very new from Japan...".

I dont dislike the modern systems, in fact, I have little experience with them to say either way. PS2 is "high tech" enough for my wife and I, we have sooooo many killer games that neither of us has even PLAYED yet. (Around 150 at last count..)
To me, Resident Evil 4 is just about the pinnacle of what I need and want from a game, and I have that already, two copies. (Along with all of the other RE games and a few Silent Hills..)

Dont care much for all of the modern military games, the 'Assassin' crap, or the "Warcraft World", but I have a very strong desire to play Resident Evil 5, so I suppose I should get friendly with a PS3 at some point....

I was considering "donating" a boxfull or two of random stuff to the site, or maybe doing a "raffle" of some kind with the proceeds going to fund the site. We just have soooooo much stuff at this point, and I feel that after all of the help we have received along with the endless ROMs we have been feeding on here, that its the least I could do....I know that running a website of this size isnt without its costs....

I'll take that Wii off your hands . Do you have the PS2 or GC version of RE4? The GC version looks a lot better .
    Just joking about that.

Sorry man, that Wii went the way of the dinosaur months ago....I think I have a couple others, though, god knows where...

As for RE, I have both versions. I didnt own a GameCube until about 6 months ago, but once I found out that there were RE games on it, let alone EXCLUSIVE ones, I straight away bought several systems and each RE game. Not a big fan of the one with Rebecca that starts out on the train, bleh, had a hard time getting into it...

Speaking of GC, I think I might have a "sickness" when it somes to that system....I have no particular "love" for it, yet the other day I discovered roughly six decks at the bottom of a closet.... W-e-i-r-d that I would seemingly 'horde' them like this...huh.....maybe I am subconsciously planning to build an igloo out of GCs - ?

Sure hope it doesn't disappoint you. It did disappoint me, and left me bored playing it.

Did you play it multiplayer or single player? I went through it in single player first and was massively underwhelmed. But in multiplayer it's a good laugh, and actually loads of fun. It's worth a go if you never tried it like that~!

RE5 is really something you have to play in co-op, preferably with a friend sat next to you on the couch. It's not a game I'd bother with in single player mode.

EDIT: Beaten by Elin. But she's right.

I enjoyed single player. Not as good as 4 but, fun nonetheless.

Even if we said basically the same thing, your avatar added "dat ass" on the end. Which is always relevant.

I thought it was okay-ish, but pretty forgettable. It probably didn't help that I played it on the back of Uncharted 2, which has a pretty fabulous single player campaign. Still, I must confess that it kind of came alive for me more as Wesker came into it. He was totally the heart of the party in 5.

I played it when I got my console. I don't see the attraction to the multiplayer in the Uncharted games.
