And he wants to get rid of his Intel i5 and get an AMD Athlon X2.

I don't know why he'd want to switch CPUs, he'll have to spend money on a motherboard too .

I already picked out a full ATX Gigabyte motherboard and an i7 2500k, but no it's not going to be good enough now. He wants an AMD that's 4x worse than what he has now.
