    That's why I prefer dealing with Dell for computers/equipment bought over the Internet. They would ship out another monitor with a return label so you could use that one until the new one arrives, then send back the defective one.

    I bought it through Amazon; I'll have to give ASUS a call tomorrow and find out if they would do that.

    If I'm not mistaken, Amazon's warranty specifies a certain number of dead pixels before they deem it to be 'defective'.

    That would be annoying. Shouldn't the manufacture warranty supersede Amazon's?

    Not good enough for me. GTAIV was the first GTA I've ever enjoyed enough to play for more than a few minutes. GTASA only qualified for about an hour from me.
