i usually suck at coming up with topics for discussion but i think i have a good one. The topic zombies.
I was thinking about this(for like 5 minutes) do zombies have a thought process or do they act solely upon instinct?
I know they have to have some type of brain function otherwise they wouldn't be able to move or moan.

It depends on which stories of zombies. There is a thread kicking around here somewhere on it pretty sure within the last year. Or if after it's lost.

Dunno. I sorta go by the RE zombie. Dumb and following instinct with just a speck of thought processes.

because from what i remember of 4 the zombies were a lot smarter than the typical trudging brain and flesh eating zombies of the past.

Technically they weren't supposed to be zombies in 4 and 5 they were infected with bug thingys. But I personally do consider them zombies so yeah the first 3 games. And veronica etc..

yeah I don't really feel they should be called zombies in 4 seeing as it was more a form of control than decaying flesh and mindlessness for lack of a better word. but thinking more on it i don't really think they'd act more on instinct then conscious thought. an example would be a zombie feasting on a dead human carcass (can't remember which game I saw that in) unless the zombie in question enjoys feasting on dead people he'd be acting more on instinct from hunger.

hmmm probably not. It's usually pain that stops us in our tracks, unless of course you've been done like Kunte Kinte and get your foot chopped off or something

yeah I guess they wouldn't have a pain response after all it takes several shots or stabs to taake one down and they usually just get right back up unless you kill them completely.
