UGH! Work again tomorrow. But as they say, a toll is a toll, and a roll is a roll, and if we don't get no tolls, then we don't eat no rolls. I have a problem with this computer I'm currently using. I've been through lots of sites to try and find a solution, and can only think of one thing that is causing it. Its in the spoiler if anyone would like to try. I hate this computer. It constantly gives me system config corruption messages on start up til it feels like working (anywhere between 2-8 times) and then reboots randomly a couple of times after it actually starts windows. I have the feeling it might have something to do with the fact I turn it off by the plug after I shut the computer down. The reason I say this is because this computer doesn't seem to "shut down" the mouse and plug are still on. I was wondering if this might have something to do with it? Thanks.

I talk to mine and try to be nice to them. That seems to help. I mean, either everything has feelings or nothing does. I have learned manipulation but that's not the same thing; I was just taught to cry when i wanted something when I was a baby and it evolved into more complex forms of control. But really it's just electricity rattling through an organic processor and has nothing to do with anything more profound. Therefore, it is not any more insane for me to show affection to inanimate objects.

Almost sounds like a PSU problem, pulling the plug probably isn't helping it either....

Yeah, this was a clean install. When I finished installing everything I turned off the computer. When it was off (the mouse light and keyboard num lock light were still on) I turned it off at the wall. (Saving electric? New house so we want to see how we can manage our electricity for the moment)

Edit: Actually I think I see what the issue is. I'm not going to bother sorting it out tonight, because I have work in the morning and this would take a while. Goodnight all.
