Just change your desktop to 1600x900.

I mean, what's the big deal? Am I missing something?

I know this may sound a bit strange, but I can only think you may have to try some different gfx card drivers to get around the issue.

I'm reading about someone working out display issues with LN-T4061F and Win7 64bit...ATI HD4670.......but apparently everything was ok for Windows XP Professional 64 Bit and Windows Vista Ultimate 64 Bit

    Yep.

I have the desktop set to 1600x900, but the TV cuts it off on the edges...by about 2 inches on each side.

I guess you've already tried looking in the tv menu for any Size options (or something similar)?

Really, I can't think of anything other than GFX drivers issue........I can see it's happened with other OS but can't find anything about XP 32bit.
