In all honesty, what is the appeal of Wilfred? I never got the humor at all. I personally just found it... well... stupid. I don't really know how else to put it. Apparently some people like it though, since it's still on air. So, what's the appeal? Am I missing something?

It works on many levels.

But i like it because Wilfred is a cunt, and i work in an industry where i get paid to be a cunt.
Plus its made by aussies.

Many think the aussie version is funnier then the US version, but i enjoy how LoTR dude is really high strung.
