They sound like Atreyu ripping off a bad Nightwish clone. Except their clean singer needs autotune not to sound like he belongs in Linkin Park.

Just thinking about something that sounds that bad is terrifying.

My exposure to bands like Atreyu and Tokio Hotel, thankfully, is quite limited. I've never heard a full song from either band, and I never plan to.

Yeah, I have everything but their first album.

Vocalist from MKII does the vocals for Ilium.

Have you ever listened to Excalion?

Fans of Sludge/Doom metal should check out Burning Witch if they haven't already.

One of the Stephen O'Malley bands, alongside SunnO))), Khanate, Thorrs Hammer and such. Its more Drone than anything, but its closer to sludge/doom (and metal in general) than most of the output associated with O'Malley and his usual circle.

If you want to take a crack at them, locate a copy of the Crippled Lucifer re-release from 2008. Its pretty much their entire discography.

Of course, awesome band, really. Really love the first album. Check out ARK - Burn The Sun. Jørn Lande sings there too and it's an awesome Prog-Metal album, quite unknown but it's a masterpiece.

The new Iced Earth is their weakest one yet. Didn't thought it was possible after the Something Wicked pt. II. "Nice" surprise.

They should of kept Ripper Owens in that band, the 2 albums he did with Iced Earth were amazing. I haven't heard it yet, but I will check it out later today.
