... that's a difficult one. If you think that there's genuine concern for his well being, I would tell someone. Maybe not his parents, but a close friend or something like that who can "keep an eye on him," so to speak, that he might be more comfortable talking shit out with. If you are said close friend... whelp, shit just got a whole lot more serious.

That would be the main problem, I only really see/talk to him once every few weeks, but I used to be "close" with all the people he's friends with now so I know well enough that I am basically the closest thing to an actual friend he's got.
