One of the guys threatened me tonight, I let it go at the time because it was in the street, but later on when he was by himself in a better place I told him to never do that again, and he broke down crying, the guy is basically suicidal (if what he says can be trusted in the state he was in) but I know he has cried for like no reason alot in the past, and I'm wondering what I should do. Like should I pass this off as "oh barry's drunk again" or is this something I should bring up tomorrow and start making it serious, like with his mam and dad and stuff?

... that's a difficult one. If you think that there's genuine concern for his well being, I would tell someone. Maybe not his parents, but a close friend or something like that who can "keep an eye on him," so to speak, that he might be more comfortable talking shit out with. If you are said close friend... whelp, shit just got a whole lot more serious.
