It really is. I fixed mine myself, and I know nothing about cars.
Then again, the diagram on my engine helped a fair bit.

Got home from work about 4:40. Had it fixed and was on my way to town to get supper at 6:15

I think I found a couple more problems while I was under there, but they're things I can address at later times. The belt and tensioner are performing amicably.
