Yeah I would want a guaranteed way to get a 2 bedroom flat like the one I'm living in right now. I wouldn't move out otherwise.

My family life wasn't really that bad, I was just a jackass "independent" teenager, and had to get the hell out. Learned some lessons (mostly financially), grew up, matured, and now I'm somewhat better for it. Everyone's different man, and depending if you're going to go back to school, you might want to continue living there until your done anyway. It would be a pain to have to work full-time and pay for a place. Live at you're parents for as long as you can/want, at least until they threaten to start charging rent.

Parents don't charge rent, the coucil does.

I have to pay £67 a fortnight of my £105 income to my parents. And people moan about paying like £20 a week or something. Stupid bastards.

Oh yeah, Cosmic, you've been playing the new Deus Ex right? How have you been liking it?

Just started it myself, any stupid "collectibles" I should be keeping an eye out for. Dead Island had a shit load.

I hear you. I'm planning to move away myself next year. Currently trying to find a job to save up more cash in the meantime, but will most likely be charged rent/utilities by my father upon receipt of an income despite the fact I'll be financially independent and out of his hair much sooner if he doesn't. Ugh.

Are we going to America to form a band still?

I never encountered anything of the sort.

It's brilliant mate, game of the year for me. I was completely hooked until I finished it and that's rare for me these days. If you enjoyed the first Deus Ex you'll be really happy with this one.

There's an achievement/trophy for finding certain books scattered throughout the game, but I didn't bother going for that one myself.

Good, I don't really feel like wandering all over hell and back looking for "collectibles".

You get experience for reading them, so it's sorta worth it.

I'm liking it so far. Really liked the last two games I completed, this one looks to be another really good one. Unfortunately I never played the first Deus Ex. :/ Are they directly connected story-wise?

I might consider doing that if I were playing it on PS3, but on my JTAG 360, I really don't care about achievements much.
