local news about sales tax and online sales all i have to say about this is that theres a reason why people buy online instead of in local stores, if the businesses would lower their retail prices people would probably shop in stores more often. Theres also the problem that theres specialty stores online where as there aren't locally like pc part stores is one I can think of as theres only two places in the nearby city where you can buy pc parts and one of those is a chain store and the other is small parts dealer/repairer(both of which are highly overpriced).

So my mother switches us to vodafone broadband from eircom. I was filled with dread, the stats:

Eircom Speed 3Mb, limit (thought it was unlimited but apparently its): 30Gb.

Vodafone Speed 8Mb Limit: 40Gb.

Despite this, I;m still worried this is gonna go horribly wrong.

I guess not. . .I mean, one or two movies every two weeks or so. As well as anything I pick up on psn. Other than that I dont download anything. I thought I would have been got on general browsing though.
