This white bow thing is pretty boss.
    Told you.

I, personally, am just was tired of storm beasts shit.

And the fucking mind flayers, but those aren't so bad when you're used to them. Still annoying as shit, but not as bad. So I snipe them 2 floors down because I fucking HATE the tower of Latria, it's not fun, it's just dark and annoying.

The lantern is the best fucking item ever in Dark souls.
I also agree with this, actually. I used the bow to get a few good shots on most of the bigger enemies, then switched to my melee weapon when they got close and bashed the shit out of them. Although I didn't find Tower of Latria too bad -- I hated 5-1 the most, to be honest. I got so dizzy playing that level...

I actually haven't used a bow yet. My Gargoyle Crossbow's gotten a bit of a workout before I picked up a Moon Falchion, but other than that, my primary attack has been Flame Toss, replaced by Soul Ray after 3-1. Mind Flayers were pretty easy once I picked up that melee against them was a horrible, horrible idea, and Latria was actually the first world I finished.

5-2 is evil, though. I got lost wandering through the poison swamps, almost ran out of lotuses, and the only time I got past that pack of giant monsters was by sneaking past them through the swamp, then picking off the one that followed.

Goldeneye's controls for Wii are amazingly wonky.

    Yeah, the poison swamp sucked.

In all honesty, those two levels in general sucked. A lot.

The memories. The horrible, horrible memories.

Good, everyone is aware of how painful 5 is.

Also, what's with the Latria hate? The design there was amazing. How does one not love wading through a swamp of blood fighting human faced tadpoles and mindflayers on your quest to break open a giant beating heart?

On the bright side, beating 5-1 does give you the hilariously broken Poison Cloud. I think that this spell, plus the wonderful Thief's Ring, is the only thing that let me take down Maneater (Especially when the second one flew in), and I've put it to wonderful use against NPC Black Phantoms. Catch their attention, throw down a cloud of lethal poison, then run away until they lose sight. Much more effective than bleeding them white.
    ...
    That was actually completely unintentional.

Throw out an acid cloud first.

Then they'll certainly be displeased when they realize that not only did they get taken down, but they now have a hefty repair bill coming their way.
