When I say some books, I mean over half of what I picked up. The only section that was true to the name was the fantasy/sci-fi section.

It's entirely possible that most of them weren't half price, but all the ones I looked at today were. My sister bought a hardcover for $5 that was labelled as $10 on the back, and the sci-fi/fantasy section (where I was actively looking for that book) specifically had a sign on the shelf that said "All paperbacks half of publisher price or less."
