Luckily though, where I live wasn't /too/ bad with flooding. IE my house and the surrounding square mile
I live in central Virginia. It wasn't too bad where I'm located, but I imagine the places a little further east from me (where they're still cleaning up from Irene and such) weren't too thrilled. I don't think we have any crazy flooding stories down here, though.

I want to ride some roller coasters over a flooded park.

I'm hoping there's at least one person here who gets it, otherwise I'll feel really silly!

Yeah, the epicenter was only 30 miles from here. And I was on the sissy little metal scaffolding second floor of the stockroom at work. And a building fell over less than a block away from where my mother and sister live. Fun times.

I just read that. I also just read all the people complaining about how they weren't rescued in time.

I'm fond of animals, but some people just need to be hit with a brick.

Yeah, and the sig as well. Queen's Blade Rebellion, to be exact.

Not a huge fan of it, honestly (godly soundtrack, though), but I sure do love this artist.

    Oh :O

Damn, an entire building? It was really /that/ bad? Here it was only a mild shaking

An old building, but yeah. One or two more had to be demolished.

Yeah, well there's a reason why we have that "Cthulhu - 1d6 investigators per round" catchphrase.

Well that's Space Marine complete on Normal, in only a few days. Although I have to be honest, I couldn't put it down.

What a great game, seriously. Although maybe I'm a little biased since I've loved the Warhammer 40K universe for over a decade. Seeing as how I have a 5000+ point Chaos army. Storyline was excellent, the weapons were awesome, and the balance of shooting and hack N' slash was perfect. I fully recommend this game to anyone who's a fan of the genre.

Now maybe after this small break I can go back to Dead Island and finish that one up as well.

Oh? I can't think of any anime soundtracks that can compete with movies or good game soundtracks.

Speaking of 1d6s and such -- I'm not sure what's so scary about not being able to properly appraise items, but after scaring my bishop to death a few times she finally succeeded in appraising a sword for me.

    Dragon Slayer
    Atk: 27~142 x3
    Accu: 1
    Dodge:2
    Rng: M
    Def: 2
    Ele: Nil

That's a rather wide damage range there. Why do I feel like this game would require about a million dice if it were tabletop rather than console-based?

Is the plot enjoyable without knowing the general plot direction of 40K?
