So Nintendo 3DS any thoughts?
I purchased my 3DS after the price drop a couple of weeks ago and so far have been enjoying the games I have (Pilotwings Resort and Ocarina 3D). I talked to a friend of mine who manages a Game Stop where I live at and found out a decent bit info about the new Mario Kart 7 coming out for it. He was telling me the way the game's set up you'll be able to customize your kart pretty heavily.

Summery on my thoughts on the 3DS
Take Headache Inducing, Motion Sickness causing 3D Screen that you have to be in rather a very exact position (for many) the add everything people complained about on the PSP (Lack of original games, 1 analog stick and poor battery life) and you got the 3DS!
Its silly to buy one now, as Steve Benway says on youtube and I Agree, Its pointless to buy one now with the second stick addon coming out you know Nintendo will make a new revision to the hardware to have it built into the machine. then Original 3DS Users will have to buy a addon that will make there 3DS a tank or not have the second stick which you will imagine most games will use.

lol. I don't know too much about the add-on and its kinda too late for nintendo to make an add-on joystick for it. Of course the N64 only had one joystick and people didn't complain too much about that. As far as games are concerned I hope that its mainly gonna be game announcements. That'll pump some lifeblood into this system. I do find the launch titles to be relatively lackluster and can agree with you on that on many avenues however I do feel Nintendo is the only company right now to take major risks when it comes to the gaming markets and feel that something good will come out of tomorrow's announcements. They still are one of my favorite companies even though they've slapped me in the face a lot here lately. And as far as that dude is concerned way too many VHS's for reals. Why convert them to DVD just rip them and put them on HDD. Of course that is my preferences speaking right there. I have pretty much everything I own on hdd right now.

As far as the 3ds goes, until some fucking games come out, it is the most expensive paper weight I've ever had. I'm not entirely sure what the future holds for it, but it desperately needs some dev support.

My little cousin has a 3DS and just looking at the screen for the 5 seconds I did it was giving me a headache and hurting my eyes. Nintendo is gonna get their ass sued after a few kids drop dead from a brain aneurysm due to looking at a 3DS screen for 4+ hours a day.

Dunno if i'll ever buy one. besides LoZ nothing interests me about it. iv'e played it for around 30 minutes and felt fine. its just there are no good games. i might get it cheap once theres a way to hack it.

It's nice to make the game look cooler and feel more real but that's just it its a game.

I wonder how MHTri will translate over into the 3ds, I feel like the graphics will be terribly butchered and the lack of an addition analog stick will make camera controls awkward.
