Except you need to buy the map from the store, then have it identified, before you can actually use it.

M$ has computers locked up. They were there at the right time to make them easy enough for the general public to use. There really are no alternatives for operating systems everyone can use.
But, that's where it stops. Everywhere else they have dabbled, there are better options.
