When you complete a level, the number of skulls you see at the top of the book should tell you the difficulty level, 3 should be hard.
I was considering to start it and was wondering how hard is hard..

I didn't notice much of a difference on the early levels. I never finished it. Maybe hard is more challenging on the later levels?

Mario Sunshine. It's really underrated.

I've never played more than a few minutes, looked alright.
