I have never used 1.2 so idk what the changelog holds. It can't be hard to find 1.4.2 though

It's because they haven't been around since the very beginning. I've been around since 1.5OFW, but I accidentally updated and didn't get on CFW till around 2.8X I believe

I followed homebrew ridiculously closely until around 4.XX. Then it just sort of died off. Homebrew is honestly what got me into the whole modding thing, but now all I really do with it is play old PSX games or pirate the occasional PSP game. The homebrew thing is sort of dead now

Oh, I know. I put it on a friends, and I hadn't updated it in a while, and I was very surprised. Super Mario 64 is practically full speed now :O
That's not really homebrew though, there's nothing original about it. Impressive and fun? Sure. But homebrew? Not really...

Ill admit I was having some issues in Work Time Fun for that when i was trying to Outsource to my girlfriend, but Normal Ad-Hoc multiplayer worked ok
