Oh wow. Noticed some major shadowing on my one monitor. Moved the VGA cable away from all of my power cables (I have two power strips right behind the monitor) and it all went away, and the picture is roughly 39749273497234x better now

A combination of a grumpy boyfriend, an upset stomach, and not wanting to chat with random males on the internet prevented me from using my headset -- but it was amusing to hear the couple of guys who were using them.

Yeah, I always knew it could affect it (especially when it comes to audio), but I didn't think it would be that drastic, especially not from just a few power cables. Keep in mind though, that it was literally running through the power cables.

It should affect pretty much any cable, especially if it's not shielded well. Also, it'll affect analog signals much more than digital. So yeah

I didn't realize how bad mine was honestly, until I had a problem with the monitor not letting me into the brightness controls and noticed it. I guess it just progressively got worse, so I never really noticed it. My situation was pretty bad though, unless it's literally tangled in power cables, you should be fine.

So, is Deus Ex HR worth looking into? I haven't heard much about it, and I've never played the original, so I'm not sure if I should pick it up or not.
