You need to play the game through HDMI. You googled it and found this out yourself, yet you're asking anyway? Seriously!?

Sony have stopped support for component recently, so if it's a new game that's why. You need an HDTV to play that game.

Then I wouldn't attempt playing it in the first place.

It uses incredibly small fonts. Unless your TV is fuckhuge everything is going to be far too blurry to read comfortably.

most RPGs on PS3 are hard to read comfortably anyway... it was a bitch rearranging items and such in disgaea 3

and as for playing it.... i guess its going to be sitting on my shelf for a few years then... o well

    Not blurry, just tiny.

Dude you can buy a PC monitor with an HDMI input that is about 23-24" for around $100 USD. I have an Acer monitor I have my PS3 hooked up to, its full 1080P and only 2ms input lag. Cost me around $100. Invest in a new monitor/tv, they aren't terribly expensive. My PS3 display looks like shit on my 42" TV that isn't HD, there is a white bar that continuously goes from top to bottom and distorts the image, and couldn't figure out any way to make it stop doing that, but it looks great on this monitor.

I doubt it has tubes, other than the picture tube.

Talking about a SD TV with this post*

It might have warp tubes .

You should get a 22 - 27" HDTV Luffy, it shouldn't cost too much .
