First from the previous post is the titular Layzner of Blue Comet SPT Layzner, which I'm not surprised that most people didn't get, considering that it seems that it's never seen US or full fansub release. I only knew it because of SRT J, which includes the series in its line-up. The quoted post above is some iteration of Macross, judging by the standard type-1 Itano Circus launched by a fighter-type mech.Bingo! Correct Mistral, screens were from the in-universe movie The Super Dimensional Fortress Macross: Do You Remember Love? It's an alternate retelling of the events of SDF Macross. I think the movie was showing around the time of Macross 7 within the Macross universe. It's pretty interesting but the only other example of that movie within a series thing that I can think of is at the beginning of the Gundam 00 movie.
I thought more people would have heard of Layzner though, I always see it on mecha boards so I figured it was more popular.
New one. Another great show I perceive to be popular but maybe it isn't.
