On a side note, try Quake 2 or Alien Trilogy.. but the thing is, if you cant tell if its the game just by looking/watching it and need the exact level for visual reference, then you may as well just hunt down the demo in that case.
Your right, it looks like im going to need to find the actual demo in order to find this game. Guess i'll go through all the demo disks found here. Heck, for all i know i've already found the game, and the level in the demo wasn't put into the final game.

Edit: Well, so far looked at all the Official US Playstation Magazine demos that are here, couldnt find the game im looking for, so its probably on one of the demo disks that arent here. Dont see any point at lookin at the other demo disks as they'll have the same demos the OPM disks have.

lol.. there's a million and one demos out there.

I had a quick look on youtube for the PS1 DOOM starting level I was talking about, and I think it was actually FINAL DOOM I was talking about, as it was its own stand alone game, different from the actual first DOOM game on ps1... so go to youtube and type in "Final Doom PS1", and have a look at the start level, its the outside square part with a door leading into a building/complex.... just to see if it WAS the game.

If it still isn't it then, was it atleast similar to this?.. what was different?.. was the platform bigger/smaller?..was the day sky brighter?,..was the building doorway different?... or what is the actual building like?.. how far away was it, closer/farther/same?

    Don't say you cant remember.

EDIT- Even better, what year was this you played it, since we're talking demo the year could make it very easy to track down or atleast disregard some games it may be. That is if the demo was newish at the time and not an old disk.

Outside was brighter, the door was quite large and i believe opened upwards, player starts on left of the square area facing the opposite side, barrels i think were on the bottom right of the square area and i THINK around the square area were bushes. I cant remember much of the interior of the complex other than, mostly red lighting and the airlock-style exit (which ends the demo). Compared to Final Doom, the square area in the game im trying to find was smaller.

How old was this?.. maybe it's one of the Sam and Max games

They were cops and made stupid wise cracks, and were funny looking characters.

A game Ive forgotten the name of is on the pc... probably released in the 90's I only played it once about 8 years ago so sorry if the information isnt too good and I only played a multiplayer game so Ill describe that. The game has lan mutliplayer and you play as robots. Its viewed from an almost top down view. Each player has a base (possible max of 2 players not sure). In their base there are black boxes with numbers written on. When you press a button near these build sites they build either tanks or spaceships/planes. The map I was playing on had a metal floor. Be really happy if someone knew this game though I dont think its very well known. You controlled your character with the arrow keys directly. I think the units you built automatically moved or followed you.

It was a game for the ps2, i played it on a demo once.
It had something to do with a spaceship and ghosts it was scary as hell and i remeber if you walked into the girl that walked around you would die. and the game would end. i also remeber you had a flashlight on your helmet and you could change the brightness of the light.

So this game is for the ps1 or ps2 but I am leaning more towards ps1. It was an RPG with two modes, one was adventure mode which was the actual game. It was like a hack n slash rpg.You could jump attack and use magic. Then there was another mode of the game where you would go through a dungeon start off with a knife and it broke rather easily so you had to keep finding weapons, armor and items to be able to get to the next level of the dungeon. I'm not sure about this detail but in the adventure mode I think you could pick from a boy or a girl. I remember renting it from blockbuster and I don't ever remember renting ps2 titles from blockbuster so that's why im leaning more towards ps1. Thanks for any help!

I played this years ago, I think it was a demo for a previous gen console, if I remember correctly it had a young boy and girl at a train station where tree roots or something had essentially grown everywhere, then a train with a person (Think it was a woman) on it where the girl was very cautious. I think it was an RPG just from the tone of it. Please help.

I guess this one will be hard to recognize: it was an open world adventure game set in a ambient like an African savanna or a desert.I recollect you controled an animal like an antilope and you should try to escape from wild lions.I'm quite sure the animals were simple sprites. From what I recall too,it had an oasis and some palm trees in the stage.
