I'll be 23 in a month and I'm going back next year to start from scratch and study something completely different. It's never too late.
What he said. I really wish I had taken more time to evaluate things before jumping into stuff. I went to college because it's what I figured I wanted, what everyone else was doing, and because I wanted to "get my life started". Instead all I got was horrendously stressed, a massive debt, and a very long uphill battle to get back now that I've had some time away from it. There is nothing wrong with taking things at a slower pace and being sure of something before you make a lifelong commitment. Moreso if you're going to spend decades paying off the debt whether your gamble pays off or not.

Also, on the topic of grades/uni: I finished near the top of my class. I'm currently a broke as fuck unemployed guy with a life I wouldn't wish on anyone. Education is a fucking lie. Never let anyone tell you otherwise. In the real world, it's all about connections and luck. How much shit you can memorize or how many books you can read in a week doesn't amount to a damn thing in the long run. Unless you happen to be in one of "those" careers. And even then, competence and knowing the right people will do you just as much good. Because, hey, no one gets ahead in life by having a good report card.

I didn't know how low 360 sales were in Japan, I thought it would have done better than that.

College reps always try. Assholes like to try and tell you the same.

There is no sense in going to school to get a degree if you won't be using it.

Remember how low the PS3 sales were in North America back during launch?

Well it's roughly equivalent like that. Except MS never got out of that rut. Not by a long shot.

Sucks for them . Their sales in the US are pretty good.

Well, Cave still seems to be supporting the 360. There are loads of Japanese Shmups on the 360. Akai Katana by Cave being one of the most recent releases. Also the Otomodius series is good if you're a fan of Gradius and it's spin-offs. Also, the obligatory Super Robot Taisen game.

I'm not saying any of those releases gave MS a chance in hell of selling the 360 in Japan. I'm just saying that there are some good Japanese-only releases that aren't dating sims/visual novels.

Also, just snaged Xenoblade: Chronicles, played for about an hour. Actually really liking it so far. I can't wait to get off work and play some more tonight.

Yeah, except that cave recently released their sales info and projections.

Turns out, they're intending to focus more and more on the portable gaming market from here on. They've been doing quite well on cellphone/tablet platforms lately. Home consoles and arcades? Not so much.

Rats, that just means I'll have to get an Android phone or something.

    Anyway, off to work now.

Better jump on this...it doesn't happen very often. They pay $3 per survey, by check or Paypal.

Signup Link -they do surveys that pay $3, and also do a lot of great product tests before items hit the market. They’re looking for Men and Women ages 18-24
