yeah the nineties are my favorite mostly because I physically own almost every uncanny and regular x-men then. I sorta also have a thing for the telepathic girls, Emma Frost is another one of my faves too.

And yes she sprinkles pixie dust. And funny enough is becoming good friends with the aforementioned Dazzler.

Well, I've had a 500, 600, 1200 and CD32...As for actually remembering anything other than how to load a game....

I miss 90s X-Men. Age of Apocalypse was mind blowing to nine year old Cosmic.

I just won a 600 with 4GB CF card, RAM expansion, box of disks, 6 button Megadrive controller and the like for £37.50, good deal no?

Also my uncle's just bought and paid for a 4GB CF kit with a 37,300 Kickstart upgrade chip. So we ripped apart his old Amiga 600 and found out it already had that chip on? Is that normal? Do all 600s already have that?

My uncle has a spare 600 with a broken floppy drive. Rather than buying a replacement floppy drive he just went and paid £50 or something for ANOTHER 600.

Ripping my burned PS2 discs, yo.

Actually getting a PS2 emulator working is kinda surprising, for me.

I'd say the Amiga ranges from £10 upwards depending on accessories. You can get a CD32 with an expansion kit to plug a keyboard and floppy drive in, basically making it a 1200 with a CD drive.

I don't know anything about Kickstart upgrade chips though...

I'm actually quite jealous though, I've always sort of wanted an Amiga but never really had space to set it all up...

It's quite well emulated on both Xbox, and PC. There's a nice PC front end for WinUAE called Lemonade iirc.

... £10 lolwut, get your arse on eBay and look at the prices. They're insane. You're looking at paying at least £35-50 for a decent complete 500/600. Around £60+ for a 1200...

Compact Flash conversion kits cost around £35-40 as well. So I reckon I got a good deal, stop shitting on me.

Yeah I played around with WinUAE way back when, it was fun. It was nice playing decent versions of all the games that were downgraded and crammed onto the C64 towards the end of its life. I'll check out Lemonade...

Had loads of them as a kid, they just bring back so many memories.

Also disk swapping was a bitch. Especially when some games were like 8 disks. FFFFUUUU
