I like chipping away slowly at something like 10,000 kills. It's reason to keep playing.

However, when they had a trophy/achievement like 10,000 kills into a boring as shit game like Resistance 2...

Well yeah, that's fine. It's the 100 kills with every weapon and whatnot what gets me, I recall this guy on our team who ran desperately to get the Torque Bow, even though he was getting blown to pieces, checked his profile and he was missing that achievement.

    Derp.

    I'm taking lives.

Possibly fictional lives, possibly real lives, but lives none the less.

(Shit is happening next week, I just had to re-read through all my 40K books)
You know what I've never quite understood? The moment people start discussing where to dump the body the conversation takes a serious turn. Why? Aren't gamers always looking for bigger and better things to kill? Just because the Space Invaders want to destroy your pixel bases does not give you a right to shoot them with pixel bullets say the righteous pundits. They're right, because outside has the best graphics possible and no monthly fee. Best of all, outside's blood is real and so are your experience points.

Considering Dungeon Siege 3 tbh. We seem to be playing the same games recently?

I'm all FPS'd out at the minute after Homefront and FEAR so I want something a little different. I think DS3 will fit the bill nicely! I'll probably be juggling that and Alice at the same time when that arrives though.
