Why is there commentary anyway? Is it just for official tournament games?

Well generally it's for top level players, the best of the best who are much better than your average player but occasionally there is more fun casting for noobs, mostly however it's for top level play and the things they criticise is unbelievable.

Well for some like the Robotics facility it's shorter to say particurlarly if you are listing a build order but don't want to give the full name but also because people love jargon.

Why is there commentary anyway?

Because when you watch a game without commentary, you'll probably just see a Korean kicking the ass of another Korean. With commentary, you'll know exactly what he did, how he did it and most importantly, why he did it. Which is infinitely more entertaining and educational. Honestly, I'd never watch an SC game without commentary.

How about the Archon Toilet. Possibly the manliest and most baller thing to do in SC2. I think they patched it a while ago, though.

I saw one done in a match and oh boy was it powerful, they did patch it up a few months ago I heard but vortex is still useful if you want to split half of your enemies army so you can deal with each half individually but generally, nobody builds motherships.

If you get the right caster they can be quite fun and you can learn a lot from watching people much better than yourself.
