Well, the God of War lists are amusing. All 5 God of War games now share virtually the same trophy lists.

Considering finishing off the PS1 Mega Man X games that Drag didn't do (X4 w/X, X5, X6). Good/bad idea? And what's the generally accepted method for recording here? Fraps for video/game audio with Audacity recording speaking at the same time?

DO IT!

And yeah, when recording with Fraps, I just set my microphone halfway between myself and the speaker and adjusted the volume until I found an acceptable level. For other games, I recorded and used Audacity at the same time. Either or works, but when using Audacity you usually have to sync up the audio with the video a bit, which can be a bit of a pain in the ass. Took me a couple of games before I found a method that worked well.

Depends. I always had issues when recording at 30, never any at 60.

Depends on the game, I think. I never had any problems until I tried recording MMX4 at 30, but when I upped it to 60 it ran perfectly fine.

Obviously, there's a difference in using it for pain and using it to slightly decrease the chances that someone's going to have a heart attack as a result of a coronary artery blockage involving a clot that formed in the heart chambers during atrial fibrillation.

I totally over-medicate myself, too.

The Hang Out is also the last thread that I catch up on when I sign on. Because there's usually so much to read.

Also, had to make dinner for kiddo. Which took time. Then I was going to play Demon's Souls, but realized that would be a bad idea. Since you can't pause. And my son is over for the night.

... guess I'll have to find something else to play when he watches movies on my laptop.

Also, I sent an invite to my sister to play Dead Nation. She never responded, so about an hour later, I decided to go take a shower.

Now I have about 10 invites in return and she's not online anymore.
