I'm sorry. I take really nice care of everything else, if that matters any. My handhelds are my babies, I protect them like they're made of glass.

I'm sure if I used my phone for more than just calling people or text messaging, I'd be much more careful with it. My newest phone is probably...six months old? It's not doing too bad since I have a hard shell case on it. The case looks like shit now, but the phone itself is holding up decently.

Your house insurance covers cell phone damage? That's pretty amazing I've got renter's insurance that covers major fiascoes or theft, but I doubt it'd be a very clean process if I ever needed to use it.

My parents are paying a tiny bit extra so it covers laptops and phones etc. Although they don't cover portable gaming systems?

Either way, it's nice to know that if you drop your laptop you can get a replacement no problem...

    Takes me 30-40 minutes tops.

I love how I only need to install video drivers for my laptop. Hell, I don't even need to, I just like to.

It just runs perfectly straight out of the box as it were.

I just have to install the few programs I use and set up my browser again and I'm good.

It only takes about 10 - 15 minutes to reinstall the OS and such.

Installing Vista SP1, and every other program I need on the computer takes much longer.

No joke! That's awesome! I've had so many issues getting old laptops repaired/replaced even while under warranty.

I tripped over the charger for my other laptop one night and launched it across the room. I was so about that.

Turns out it just ended up with some quite nasty scratches on the bottom, no real damage to it done, everything still working as it should. I gave that one to my parents last October and they've had no issues.

Probably because it's the only OS he has the disc for.

The only operating systems I have legit keys for are Vista HP 32bit, and XP. I think I have another version of Vista laying around but, I can't remember where the disc and key are.
