Possibly right there in front of you, in plain sight. Happened to me more than once.

I've also frequently wished that when I need money, I could just go outside and one hit kill some monsters.

Snazzy. Kinda Guardian Heroes-ish. Maybe. Only played the second game myself.

I really like the first Grandia. Definitely one of my favourites ever. It's typical JRPG stuff, but done very, very well. Though the voices are awwwwwful in English. And the translation flits from being really good to being horrifically bad, suggesting that they didn't have time to polish certain segments of it.

As a less cultured RPG player, I relate more to this.

Reminds me of a time when my girlfriend and I rescued a kitten from the streets, brought it home, then put her in a pillow in the ground to make her comfortable, went to Walmart to buy her some food, got back and we couldn't find her anywhere, looked under the bed, out of her room, inside the sheets, nada.

Until I glanced at something in the dressing mirror, the damn cat was there all the time looking at us hidden behind the makeup bag of my girlfriend.
