hmmn nope, game gave me the wrong item. Tried with the power seed and instead i got a scroll.

okay i see the problem now. Its because i'm using the redux version of the game. On a clean iso file the codes work fine. Unforutnatly i don't need them on a clean iso file haha, that version is easy enough. Well damn, that means unless someone wants to go hunting around in the redux version for the right info, i'm out of luck. The reason why i want the codes is that he removed the seeds as drops from the resptective monsters that can normally give them. They are not removed from the game however, as the normal ones planted in a few areas are still there.

The item was prolly removed or changed to a different item as the item codes do seem to work but as you said the item drops have been changed

it was probably changed, i've still picked up a couple in the field that are planted ones. I'd go poking around in the memory of the Redux mod to try to find out where the seeds are now, but i don't have the skill or programs needed to do that.

why don't you just get one seen as you have found one then do a hex edit with PEC and look at what is at e.g. Feena Slot 1 location 10344 or whatever location the item is stored at and see what the code for item is

I don't know enough about hex editors to be able to find out where the seeds are stored. I can email someone the memory card file for epsxe if they want to try to tear the save apart with one. Or a save state if that is preferred. Or if they want to try take a look at the patch file itself, both the disc 1 and 2 patches are here(ppf form) http://grandiaredux.blogspot.com/

hmmn checking his enemy info section he apparently re added them as drops. Last i knew they had been taken out. Ah well that still doesnt change the fact that trying to get them is a pain in a real pain when the enemys get 5500 max hp and such. Would still like to figure out something for a code lol.

see all that well you kill off the first 2 digits and that the address that Feena's items are stored

e.g. 8001035A becomes 01035A, you can also kill off any 0's at the start so it becomes 1035A some editors it will be shown as 0001035A

The first 2 digits make in the above codes determin the type of code and are not part of the address only the last 6 digits are the location in memory

I'm realy not in the mood for cracking a save myself... not ment to be personal so please don't take it that way just not in the mood plus I would need the game aswell... though if I had the game I would just hack the game for the items not the save

okay, waited a few days seems no one wants to help and thats fine. The reason i'm posting now is to ask for +magic skill codes to use with a clean iso file. I know you already provided the last 3 digits for such codes above, but i'd still need all the digits before that to make it work.
