I've swapped out Kyo for Ash. I'm not a big fan of Kyo with projectiles .

There is no ratio in KoF .

For me it's Kyo, Iori, and the third is cycled. In XIII I'm using Ash, Benimaru, Iori.

However it is all up to the tournament director if they want to apply this. It encouraged players to use a variety of teams and made the game last longer in the competitive scene.
