Now thinking I'm completely off-base about another CiB store-owner being on here. I get lost so easily
That's really awesome haha. Sounds like all of this would be a lot of fun, even if rather stressful sometimes. It also makes me want to take a peek into thrift stores in my own area.
My friend's mom just went through all his old stuff and apparently found a couple good condition rpgs, I have no clue which ones. He keeps saying he's going to take them in, but they'll probably just go in another box for several more years
If they are worth something, offer a fair price .

I doubt they are. He would have moved them by now if he could make anything worthwhile off them. But I'll bother him about them tonight and see what all he has

Can't hurt .

Pretty good, actually. The first day was the best by a long shot, but yesterday was great as well. I took in A LOT of trades yesterday, all good stuff, and I still made a pretty profit for the day.
But I will admit, this is hard for me. There's so many games in my store I just want to take home with me, but I really shouldn't. Shining Force III and Dragon Force are just laughing in my face right now.
Word. Do you even bother with ordering stuff for people?
From my experience the price of distributors is hit or miss compared to just getting it off ebay, but I always probe a couple local stores when I can before ordering anything rare.
Yes, some of the distributors sell for way more than Amazon. I buy more from the distributor, but I got a good amount from Amazon. I DO do custom orders, that's not much of a deal. I make a couple bucks, and the customer satisfaction makes up for it.
