It appears I won't be getting mah PS3 after all, sadly. Well, at least not for a few months anyways. But I have a bit of money to put towards it at least.

    Glad you're liking it.

Have you gotten stressed at playing it? Namely going all: "FUCKFUCKFUCKFUCK" while pressing the buttons?

Also, after playing through Final Fantasy for like the 4th time I've just now realized

    Spoiler warning:
that the five bats in the dark crystal room in the chaos shrine are the five warriors that get mentioned in Lufenia and if you talk to them after opening up the time portal they can actually speak.

Only during a couple of scenes so far. Like driving down the wrong side of the road dodging cars. Beyond that it hasn't been too bad so far. The fight scenes have been rather fun, too.

Well, between this and Alice, yeah. Also, I've been hanging out with some new friends in the evenings, too.

I loved it. A lot. There were a few control issues here and there, but nothing overly frustrating, just annoying at times. The story was pretty nifty, and the level designs were beautiful. It wasn't very difficult, though, even on Nightmare.

Yeah, I started watching an LP of it.
He was playing the PC ver though.

    The graphics were beautiful.

And it looked a lot more fun than the first one with its abortion of a fighting system.

Yeah. I had the first one, way back in the day, and can't remember if I ever beat it. I played through the port for the PS3, and it was just... atrocious. The game was kind of fun, but it did not handle well, it did not platform well (which is kind of a necessity for a platformer) and the fighting was very shoddy and boring. Also, the script was just gawdawful.

Madness Returns rectifies pretty much all of those problems and then some, in my opinion. I don't rate games, but I would probably give it a mid- to high-8 out of 10.
