That's pretty much what I paid for it on Steam, IIRC.

    I prefer the really good codes...like $2 or something. Since I'm a cheap-ass

I personally find that setting it to native res doesn't really help at all, but maybe that's just me.
It has minor impacts on the rates. I can get full on everything else I've tried. I've tried Ar Tonelico, FF XII, Shadow of the Colossus, Tales of the Abyss, and Winback.

Huh, seems like your PC's better than mine, then. I couldn't run SotC as far as I remember, and encountered slowdowns in certain areas of FFXII. Although the rest of the game (mostly the tutorial with Reks) ran at full speed.

I have to set constant FS to one to get full speed in SotC, when I play at higher resolutions anyway. Is there a version of GDsx10 that supports SSE4?

I need to upgrade my ram, the CPU has a rated bus speed of 1300mhz and my ram is running at 333.

Local rendering and a physical copy for me . Can you backup the installer for games you get on Steam?

Might have to try that with SotC. I haven't really messed around with settings when I tried it. I kinda just gave up after my first try.

There might be, Google for it. I can only use SSE2, though.

Frameskipping works pretty well in PCSX2. Only version I can find is .1.4, and it only supports SSE2.

The best I can get for Resident Evil 4 (GC) is 25FPS, using the JITIL recompiler. None of the other settings have any effect.

If you mean you make a backup of the game files in your Steam folder so you won't have to redownload it every time you want to reinstall it, then yes. I've done it myself several times.
