As I understand it, when you're moving at near lightspeed and fire a laser at another object moving at similar speed, the time it takes for the laser to reach the other object is not relative to you or the target. That means that the laser doesn't seem any slower than if you and the target were stationary. So for a person moving at light speed to dodge the incoming Special Beam Cannon, they would have to react faster than they could see the beam, or predict where and when it will be fired.
Also, the only object we have so far created a theoretical model of that seems to move faster than light is the tachyon. This is a purely theoretical, massless particle that moves slightly faster than light. It has not been observed in nature or experiment AFAIK.
There is also a varied impedance cable that creates a wavefront in the energy passing throught it, so that the back of the wave pattern is slowed while the front of the wave pattern is accelerated. This means we can send a signal which begins to arrive at the destination somewhat faster than light. Unfortunately the signal is distorted by the waves' interference against itself making it impossible to decode the signal any faster than if it was sent through a normal wire.
To the best of my knowledge, nothing in reality moves exponentially faster than the speed of light.
