Not a Problem for me, G2Play and Steam sort me out and there both cheaper than the local gamestop, say what you will about Hardcopy Vs Downloadables but when your getting money off buying it on steam over the local store its a win

I doubt that many companies will get behind the idea. Atari is very anti-DRM, they forced Ossian to remove it from Mysteries of Westgate.

I was annoyed about Dirt 3 having it, it means that F1 2011 is going to have it.

But fuck, most games that I care about playing online I'll be buying on day 1 anyway brand new (Gears of War 3)

There are a lot of games with online features I don't care about, so the online pass system bothers me sometimes but not others.

Games I own with online I'm not interested in: Bioshock 2, Dead Space 2, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, etc.

But putting the online pass system into games like Crysis 2, Battlefield, Call of Duty (although I don't play it), and other games with heavy emphasis on online is horrendous.

Oh lawdy, tons of 14 year olds buying the best computers because they aren't proper gamers unless they have good enough computers.

lol if Battlefield 3 has an online pass feature. It'll make all used copies completely useless and worthless.

Don't forget WoW which has a monthly subscription to play online for years not, not even a once off payment.

People with sense will buy the games new with an unused pass.

Hell a few of my games I bought used with unused passes (Bulletstorm, Shift 2 and Dead Space 2. )

You can't call yourself a gamer if you don't get 9999999FPS on everything with x500AA.

Playing pay to play MMOs is proof of brain damage.
